Joe Manchin, the National Republican Senatorial Committee has decided to spend $1.2 million on TV and radio advertising in West Virginia over the next two weeks, CNN reports. Although Manchin remains well-liked in the state, Obama isn’t — his approval rating is 34 percent, according to a July Gallup poll. Connecting the two in voters’ minds could help Raese surge ahead in the polls.
