With the latest polls showing Sen. Russ Feingold to be a significant underdog in the Wisconsin Senate race, the incumbent Democrat is trying to spin that to his advantage with ads like this one:
As noted in The Corner, what’s up with the second half of the video? Does the campaign really think they’re fooling anyone with the green screen background and stock recording of “children’s laughter” on top of that? Apparently they do, because they’re insisting it was shot in front of Feingold’s house. No way, right? The shot from 0:14 to 0:23? See for yourself. Surely there are a few CSI-types out there who can deliver a definitive verdict.
