Two new polls give Sen. Barbara Boxer a five-point lead over Republican Carly Fiorina.
The SurveyUSA poll shows Boxer backed by 45 percent of likely voters. Fiorina is at 40 percent. Eight percent remain undecided.
The CNN/Time poll shows Boxer at 50 percent to Fiorina’s 45 percent.
