Cory Gardner, the Republican challenger in Colorado’s 4th district against freshman incumbent Democratic Rep. Betsy Markey, has earned the endorsements of several key media outlets in the district, and added a hefty sum to his financial outlook with just three weeks left before the election.
Gardner pulled in $708,077 in the third quarter, giving him more than $1.1 million cash on hand.
Gardner commented through a media release:
“We’re very pleased with our fundraising total for the quarter and especially proud of all the grassroots support that our campaign has received. Our message of fiscal responsibility and limited government has been resonating all across the district, and we’ll continue to work hard through Election Day.”
The Loveland Reporter-Herald, the Longmont Times-Call, and the Greeley Tribune all endorsed Gardner, giving him key support in the three most populous counties in the district–Boulder, Larimer, and Weld county.
