Denver GOP Leaves Gov. Candidate Maes Off Campaign Mailer

Ken Buck for U.S. Senate. Mike Fallon for 1st Congressional District. Secretary of State–check. Attorney General–check. Treasurer–check.

All State House and Senate Districts in Denver. Even CU Regents.

But no sign of GOP gubernatorial nominee Dan Maes:

In fact, there isn’t a mention of the governor’s race at all.

Given the recent continued revelations by former Maes financial advisers of a house in disorder and financial statements that are at best “chaotic,” it is no surprise that the Denver County GOP felt it best to avoid considering the race at all. The county party is prevented by party bylaws from endorsing a candidate from another party, such as former Republican Tom Tancredo, who is now running under the American Constitution Party banner.

Attempts for comments on the decision that led to the omission of Maes on the campaign mailer have not been returned.
