An internal poll conducted by Democrat Gov. Joe Manchin’s campaign shows him five points ahead of Republican John Raese, 48 percent to 43 percent, reports the Charleston Gazette. Seven percent of voters were undecided.
The RealClearPolitics average of polls, which does not include internal polls, shows Manchin having a 1.5-point lead.
