Michelle Obama in Denver for Bennet

Sen. Michael Bennet hopes to benefit from the more popular half of the Obama couple–First Lady Michelle Obama–whose favorability ratings and appeal to women will no doubt assist Democratic chances in the hotly contested Senate race:

The more popular Obama’s Wednesday stops in Milwaukee and Chicago indicate that she’ll be reinforcing Sen. Michael Bennet’s recent appeals to women. The New York Times quoted Obama at a similar Milwaukee luncheon saying, “I come to this stuff more as a mom.”

Former President Bill Clinton is due on Monday, October 18 to rally for early voting which begins the same day. Clinton also enjoys much higher favorables that President Obama, and would be key in healing any remaining Democratic division from the bitter primary that pitted Bennet against Denver lawmaker Andrew Romanoff, who was endorsed by Clinton.
