Murkowski’s New Radio Ad

In a new radio ad, write-in candidate Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s campaign blasts Republican candidate Joe Miller for tweeting last week about doing house hunting in D.C. — and works to make the spelling of her name familiar to Alaskans. “Joe Miller seems to think that he’s already won the election,” says the narrator, talking about Miller’s (now deleted) tweets about picking out furniture and settling in D.C. “Wait a minute Joe … you might want to wait until you hear from the 88% of us back here in Alaska who didn’t vote for you,” the narrator continues. “That plaque on the door still reads M-U-R-K-O-W-S-K-I.” Listen to it here:

The Miller campaign has since deleted the tweets, saying that a volunteer (who will no longer have access to the account) put them up. But they drew wide attention, including a responding tweet from Democrat senate candidate Scott McAdams saying@JoeWMiller: While you’re in DC picking out office furniture, I’m in Anchorage introducing my plan to get Alaskans back to work.”
