GOP senate candidate Christine O’Donnell has released a new TV ad that depicts her as an independent and Democrat senate candidate Chris Coons as a tax-hiking politician.
“She’ll stand for her principles against anyone,” begins the narrator. “But Chris Coons falls in line,” he continues as a picture of Coons, President Obama, and Vice President Joe Biden laughing together flashes across the screen.
“Ready to rubber stamp even the massive new energy tax that will cost every Delaware family thousands,” warns the narrator as the text “cap and trade” appears on the screen. “And could bring Coons family billions,” a reference to the Gore-Tex company Coons holds stock in.
“Shame on you, Chris Coons. Delaware needs an independent voice to stand up to establishment: Christine O’Donnell,” the narrator concludes.
