The National Republican Congressional Committee may have shuffled $700,000 in ad buys away from Colorado’s 4th Congressional District in the final three weeks of the campaign, but there are still funds (and, apparently, outstanding TV time) for an ad that once again rehashes Rep. Betsy Markey’s record in Congress:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is the favorite bête noire of the NRCC and Republicans in general, with voting records (94 percent of votes matching Pelosi) used as the implicit link, repeated at the end of the ad with the tagline: “Put the brakes on Pelosi. Replace Betsy Markey.”
