NRSC, DeMint Helping Miller

Republican senate candidate Joe Miller will be getting some help from Sen. Jim DeMint and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

DeMint’s Senate Conservatives Fund is spending $100,000 on radio and TV airtime to run an ad that stresses Miller’s pro-life position. “There are three Senate candidates, but only one choice to defend the unborn. Republican Joe Miller is pro-life, and the only candidate to pledge to oppose taxpayer funded abortion. Scott McAdams and Lisa Murkowski are pro-abortion,” says the ad narrator, according to Politico.

Many believe that Miller’s primary victory may have been helped by the fact that an anti-abortion measure was on the ballot as well.

The NRSC will be spending $162,000 on Miller’s behalf, although they have yet to announce specifically what that money will be spent on.
