NRSC, DeMint Run Ads for Miller

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has launched a new ad supporting Republican senate candidate Joe Miller. The ad does not mention either Sen. Lisa Murkowski or Democrat senate candidate Scott McAdams, instead focusing on Wall Street bailouts and big government.

The NRSC is spending $162,000 to air the ad.

Miller is also getting help from Sen. Jim DeMint’s Senate Conservatives Fund, which is running ads on TV and radio slamming Murkowski and McAdams for their pro-choice views and willingness to spend taxpayer money on abortions. It is widely speculated that Miller was able to win the Republican primary in part because of a pro-life initiative that was on the ballot the same day, which most likely increased pro-life voter turnout.
