Four Days to the Election
Gubernatorial Race
-
The line that the gubernatorial race is a dress reheasal for 2012 has caught on with the New York Times.
-
NPR, meanwhile, takes a break from firing politically inconvenient employees to discuss the Strickland campaign’s inability to handle inconvenient polling.
-
Meanwhile, Haley Barbour, Tim Pawlenty and Chris Christie are coming back to Ohio to stump for John Kasich, as is John Boehner. Kasich could use some help, as a recent last-ditch lawsuit regarding Strickland’s truthfulness on his gun record was thrown out.
-
Kasich also seems to have shifted toward Slavic solidarity. Fasten your seat belts, this race is going to get rough for the next four days.
House Races
-
Charlie Wilson in OH-6 is so desperate that he’s actually defending Obamacare. Good luck with that.
-
And while John Kasich might have some gun rights trouble, the same is not true of Jim Renacci, Republican challenger in OH-16, who just racked up pro-gun endorsements.
