Perlmutter, Frazier Trade Jabs in CO-7 Candidate Forum

Democratic incumbent Rep. Ed Perlmutter, Libertarian candidate Buck Bailey, and Republican challenger Ryan Frazier traded jabs about outsourcing (among other things) in a forum in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, in the heart of the 7th Congressional District. The Denver Post had endorsed Frazier just hours before the forum.

Frazier told Battle ‘10, “The editorial board of the Denver Post realizes what many people realize throughout Colorado. The people want new voices to represent them in Congress. I’m going door-to-door in Jefferson County, Adams County, and Arapahoe county trying to earn every vote I can in order to win this election.”

“I feel good about where we’re at,” said Frazier.

Mail-in ballots will begin distribution this Tuesday.

“I feel very good about our chances,” said Rep. Perlmutter. He told Battle ‘10 about his plan to win over the coming weeks. “This has been my home my whole life and I think the people know that I work very hard on their behalf,” Perlmutter noted. He continued, “We’ve got a good field program going, a lot of TV commercials, and we’re just trying to get the word out about our campaign and the desire to maintain and create jobs in our district. And, draw some contrasts between ourselves and Ryan Frazier and sometimes Buck Bailey.”
