Raese Up Six Points in New Poll

A Rasmussen poll released today shows Republican senate candidate John Raese leading Democratic candidate Gov. Joe Manchin by six points, 50 percent to 44 percent. Only 5 percent of voters remain undecided.

Based on the poll’s findings, Rasmussen decided to change the assessment of the race from “Toss-Up” to “Leans GOP.”

Raese has gained a significant amount of traction in these last weeks. As recently as mid-September, a Rasmussen poll had him trailing Manchin by seven points. A July Rasmussen poll showed Raese a whopping 16 points behind Manchin.
