Pat Toomey continues to dominate Democrat Joe Sestak in the polls, according to the latest released by Rasmussen today, which has Toomey enjoying a 9 point lead.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Pennsylvania Voters shows Toomey with 49% support to Sestak’s 40% when leaners are included. Four percent (4%) favor another candidate in the race, and seven percent (7%) are undecided.
In surveys since early February, Toomey’s support has ranged from 42% to 49%. Except for a brief surge following his mid-May primary victory over incumbent Senator Arlen Specter, Sestak’s support in that same period has run from 36% to 42%.
As pollster G. Terry Madonna told Battle ‘10 earlier this week, “all the fundamentals favor Republicans.”
