Tancredo Rally in Colorado Springs Hinges on Illegal Immigration, Challenging Hickenlooper

Tom Tancredo was joined by more than 100 supporters at a rally in a downtown Colorado Springs hotel, where the focus on illegal immigration and Tancredo’s own quirky and much-discussed political history were touted, not by the candidate himself, but a pair of big-name supporters within the state. National columnist and conservative blogger Michelle Malkin and radio talk show host and former FEMA Director Michael Brown both encouraged voters to consider Tancredo’s record and character.

Marat Kudlis, father of then 3-year-old Marten Kudlis who was killed by an illegal immigrant in 2008, set the tone for the day with an impassioned plea for resolution on the issue of immigration reform and the need to stop illegal immigration.
