Breaking: Philly Turnout Fails to Break 30 Percent

Philadelphia turnout has not been ideal for Democrats, with no area breaking 30 percent today. In a city with a 6-1 Democratic registration advantage, this is good news for Toomey.

Allegheny County, Onorato’s home base and home to Pittsburgh, went for Sestak by a decent margin, roughly 57 percent to Toomey’s 42 percent, but campaign staffers say this was expected, and Toomey’s 42 percent represents about the draw they were aiming for there.
