Breaking: Sarah Palin Endorses Tom Tancredo in Colorado Gubernatorial Race

Developing . . .

Sarah Palin has recorded a robo-call endorsement of the former Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo, paid for by the Tancredo campaign.

“Hi, this is Governor Sarah Palin. I’m calling to ask that you and your neighbors vote for Tom Tancredo to be the next governor of Colorado on Tuesday. Tom is the right man for the job, and he’ll fight for lower taxes, he’ll stop growing government, and start growing the economy. And we know he’ll continue working to end illegal immigration. Please, vote for Tom Tancredo on Tuesday. Thank you.”

Republican Dan Maes groused about the endorsement of Tancredo:

GOP gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes, a tea party favorite, said Palin is becoming more and more part of the establishment. Maes said Palin waited until the day before the election to improve her odds of picking a winner.

In a KHOW radio interview, Maes said he couldn’t see where “the courage or integrity is” in Palin’s endorsement.

In early October Maes earned the support of Palin’s father-in-law after touting a “little surprise” that many expected would be an endorsement from Palin herself.
