Allentown, Pa. — I’ve just arrived at the Holiday Inn, where Team Toomey will be spending the evening. On the drive here, just under two hours from the critical suburbs outside Philadelphia, rural roadways and on-ramp areas were littered with literally dozens of Toomey/Corbett signs, with only the occasional Sestak/Onorato sign struggling to be seen.
The first floor of the hotel is beginning to come alive, and the presidential ballroom where Pat Toomey will be delivering the news of the night is packed with press. I know Marco Rubio has been swarmed by press all day, but if the media riser here is any indication, Toomey’s star is rising perhaps just as quickly.
