O’Donnell Airing Three, 30-Minute TV Spots

Republican senate candidate Christine O’Donnell is airing three 30-minute TV spots, one tonight and two during the day Monday.

Roll Call reported that O’Donnell said in a rally today that she can win over first-time voters. She also cited Vice President Joe Biden’s scheduled Monday campaign appearance in Delaware as proof that the Democrats weren’t as certain about winning this race as they have said.

President Obama bought 30-minute blocks of time in primetime in the last days before the 2008 presidential election.

The latest poll, by Monmouth University, showed O’Donnell ten points behind Democrat Chris Coons, an indication that O’Donnell has successfully narrowed the gap.
