Pat Meehan’s Camp Jittery

It could be a late night in Pennsylvania’s Delaware County.

That’s where Democrat Bryan Lentz and Republican Pat Meehan are fighting for the seat left open when Democratic Rep. Joe Sestak decided to run for Senate. Meehan has long been the favorite, but not by much, in a race that was expected to be one of the most competitive House contests in the country.

Now we hear from The Daily Delco that Republicans are surprised by Democratic turnout in the district, and that it might be a while before we know what happens. …in the Lentz-Meehan race, we’ve heard about a palpable shift in recent days, one that has even Republicans thinking Lentz has a better shot than they did before.
