Re: ‘I Need Your Help in Pennsylvania’

With 42 minutes remaining until polls close in the Keystone State, the DNC has issued a final plea on behalf of President Obama via it’s e-mail list. The gist of the e-mail is: we’re running out of time and need your vote, so start making calls and bring three friends to vote.

Who are these supporters who can drop everything, make calls, grab three friends, and head to the polls in 42 minutes — assuming they get e-mails on their phones and check them immediately?

This isn’t aggressiveness. It’s last-ditch.

Friend –

Races across Pennsylvania are coming down to the wire. Polls will close at 8:00 p.m.

We can’t back down now. I need you to vote for Joe Sestak for Senate, Dan Onorato for governor, and Democratic candidates for Congress — and then I need you to pick up the phone and make calls to others in Pennsylvania to make sure they vote as well.

Start making calls.

In 2008, we made history. Remember that election night. Remember the generations that came before, that hoped and fought for change and a better day. And then commit to doing everything you can in this next hour to carry that promise forward.

It’s time to make some calls:https://call.barackobama.com/campaigns/PA171?stay=1

Nothing in America has ever been easy. But there’s nothing hard about deciding what to do right now: We fight until the final buzzer.

Thank you,

Barack Obama

P.S. — If you haven’t voted yet, please vote now and bring three friends.
