Toomey Leads in Muhlenberg, Quinnipiac, PPP

With less than 24 hours to go before Election Day, Pat Toomey is in the lead and by every indication has the momentum. Within the past 12 hours, three polls have been released each showing Toomey ahead by a thin but not insignificant lead.

Public Policy Polling, which two weeks ago showed Sestak jumping ahead to a lead, now shows Toomey back up five, 51 percent to 46 percent.

Muhlenberg Daily Tracking, meanwhile, has Toomey leading Sestak by four, 48 percent to 44 percent. Nine percent still claim to be undecided. And Quinnipiac has Toomey ahead five, 50 percent to 45 percent.

In a state where Sen. Rick Santorum won in 1994 by only 2.5 points, Toomey’s lead seems particularly significant.
