A World without NRO — Too Scary

For many years, I have relied on National Review to provide me with the most insightful and incisive commentary on the most important political issues of our time. Both the magazine and National Review Online have been a very special part of my political journey, and I can’t imagine making this journey without our friends at NR and NRO at my side.

National Review has always been there for me, so I urge you: Be there for National Review. Please be generous, because without support from dedicated conservatives such as you, NR won’t be able to survive. It has no deep-pocketed benefactors — instead, it has the goodwill and friendship of many average Americans who know that NR has been and is the pillar of conservative thought.

As I head to the U.S. Senate, I know that I, and many of my colleagues, will be looking forward to NR’s continued commentary and political analysis. As we struggle with serious problems — from reforming health care to creating jobs — we need an ally who will provide us with the intellectual resources to tackle these new challenges.

National Review is that ally. Please help make sure it  can continue to guide the conservative movement as it has in years past.

A world without National Review and National Review Online would be a scary place; let us not find out just how scary it would be.
