RNC Watch had heard that Kentucky national committeewoman Gail Russell’s endorsement of Ann Wagner for chair of the RNC might indicate former GOP chairman Mike Duncan’s preference. But in an e-mail to RNC Watch, Duncan remains neutral. Referring to his latest interview with television channel c|n2, Duncan writes, “I think we have several qualified candidates including two exceptionally qualified women. I will support the choice of the RNC and look forward to working with that person.”
