A Look Inside the Closed RNC Forum

Right now, the Republican National Committee is holding a closed forum with its candidates for chairman. Only members are allowed in — even RNC staffers are excluded. But you can follow some of the members who are live-tweeting the event.

Each candidate has 30 minute to use however he pleases. Saul Anuzis, for instance, used his block of time for Q & A. Matt Pinnell, chairman of the Oklahoma GOP, tweets that Anuzis “had to end clarifying his stance on popular vote, other than that, he did well.” Michael Steele, however, gave a “calm and collected speech.” And Reince Priebus seems to have delivered a few good lines. Jennifer Nassour, chairwoman of the Massachusetts GOP, tweets, “Great line from Reince Priebus “being party chairman is completely selfless. It’s about everything but you!” So true!”
