Protests Interrupted for Evening Prayers

The crowds have quieted down, and are beginning to prostrate themselves on the streets, for the final prayers of the day. Gunfire continues to be heard. The headquarters of Mubarak’s ruling party continue to burn. Egyptian commentators speculate that the protests could intensify after prayers.
