Steele Gives Swan Song

Michael Steele just gave the chairman’s report to the RNC. It felt like a farewell speech. Steele emphasized the well-known gains in congressional seats but also highlighted wins in mayoral races in 2009, which, Steele alleged, don’t get reported. Most importantly, Steele stressed, the GOP has become more inclusive. “We looked at America and we saw us,” he said.
