RNC Watch has word that Damond Watkins, the Republican national committeeman from Idaho, will back Michael Steele for reelection. Watkins’s endorsement brings Steele’s total to 28 publicly announced supporters. A senior adviser to the Steele camp tells RNC Watch that the chairman also has the private support of several other members.
