The Times provides a nice visual illuminating exactly how the clashes between anti-government and pro-Mubarak protesters went down yesterday. Yesterday, we kept hearing reports about conflicts near the Egyptian museum and about efforts by Mubarak supporters to enter Tahrir square. As you can see, those are the same thing. The main clashes occurred right outside one of the entrances to Tahrir square, near the Egyptian museum. Demonstrators on both sides began throwing Molotov cocktails, starting a fire near the museum which threatened it briefly.
