A few mores note: CIA dir. Panetta has clarified that his evaluation of the likelihood of Mubarak stepping down was not based on independent CIA intelligence — he was just relaying the news that all of us were noting.
Further, all of these rumors have one main source. The speculation that Mubarak will step down is today more credible than it has been before. But there is still some room for skepticism — the Egyptian PM denies such intentions, etc. Hopefully all our anxious uncertainty will be put to rest in an hour and a half
