New Poll: Half of Voters Back Walker

Nearly half of likely voters side with Gov. Scott Walker, according to a Rasmussen poll released today.

Forty-eight percent think that Walker is taking the right action, while 38 percent support the unions.

Overall, Americans are split on the issue of unions. Forty-five percent approve of unions, while another 45 percent disapprove.

Forty-nine percent think it should be illegal for firefighters, police officers, and teachers to strike. Thirty-eight percent disagree.
