“The people who do not love Gaddafi do not deserve to live.”

… That’s a quote from Gaddafi’s speech in Tripoli today. Today saw Libya’s biggest protests so far. As a general rule, throughout the Middle East, the most impressive and significant protests have always come on Fridays — the Muslim holy day, and beginning of the weekend. The demonstrators look undeterred; pilots ordered to deter them through overwhelming force are defecting. Things do not look good for Gaddafi. The only question, it seems to me, is how bad he can make it for others on his way out.
