Egypt’s new Prime Minister talks on state television, denies that the regime had anything to do with to pro-Mubarak “thugs” who attacked protesters, apologizes for the outbreak of violence, calls “on the youth to heed the armed forces’ call and return home to restore order,” 

Several former minsters, and members of the old government generally,  have had their assets frozen and are now banned from traveling.

Omar Suleiman (whom Mubarak just appointed veep), says Mubarak’s son will not run to replace his father in September.
