Palin Camp Vs. Politico

The Palin camp isn’t happy about Politico’s new lengthy piece about some forthcoming critical books on Palin coming out. The article, currently getting top placement on Politico’s website, focuses on Trig truthers and others who believe that the Palin family is involved in secret scandals.

Rebecca Mansour, a top Palin aide, tweeted a link to a blog post this morning by Cornell Law School professor William Jacobson that bashed Politico for running the piece.

“Under the guise of reporting on the anti-Palin movement, Politico manages to dredge up almost every crank accusation against Palin,” Jacobson wrote, adding that “in the course of the article, Politico manages to compare Palin to Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Hitler, and Father Coughlin, but only because such people were controversial and celebrities, of course.”
