Huckabee Remains Coy About 2012 Decision

Mike Huckabee is determined to keep people guessing about his decision until he announces it tomorrow night.

“My executive producer does not even know what the decision is,” Huckabee told Fox News’s Neil Cavuto today. “I’ve not even communicated with members of all my family until this afternoon.”

“You’re going to hear people that act like they know all about it, and they don’t,” he added.

Huckabee also harshly criticized Mitt Romney’s refusual to apologize for Romneycare. “I think he’s got a real issue with that, and I’m not sure he succeeded in explaining it,” Huckabee said.

Instead, Huckabee said Romney should have apologized and said, “‘It [Romneycare] hasn’t really worked out like we thought, so it’s not a good idea to try on the national level.’”

“That would have been a smart play,” Huckabee said. “He could have ended it yesterday. Now he’s going to be dealing with it in every debate.
