Pawlenty Reaches Out to Evangelicals

Tim Pawlenty has purchased $14,000 in radio ads in Iowa to air starting today to July 4, reports Politico’s Ben Smith. The ads will air on news and Christian stations.

When National Association of Evangelical leaders were polled recently, 45 percent said they backed Pawlenty. The runner-up was Mitt Romney, who was supported by 14 percent.
