Romney to Visit Closed Factory Obama Once Hailed As ‘Symbol of Hope’

Mitt Romney will visit Allentown Metal Works this afternoon, a now-closed factory that President Obama visited in December 2009 as part of a swing through Pennsylvania to speak about his job creation efforts. Romney’s campaign is underscoring the symbolism of the visit with a new web video that showcases Obama’s original remarks — and the number of jobs lost in Pennsylvania since then:

 

President Obama is visiting Pennsylvania today, scheduled to attend a couple of fundraisers in the Philadelphia area. Romney will attend a fundraiser and a luncheon in Philadelphia before going to Allentown.
