The Club for Growth analyzed Jon Huntsman’s record last week as part of their series looking at 2012 contenders and concluded “pro-growth conservatives looking for a kindred spirit in Governor Huntsman will probably find common ground on trade and taxes, but they will most likely be disappointed overall if he is elected President.”
Today, the Huntsman campaign responded to some of the criticisms in the Club’s paper, saying “the facts are clear, and there is no doubt that Jon Huntsman is a fiscal conservative who responsibly managed Utah’s state budget.”
The Club has now responded to the Huntsman’s campaigns arguments, defending the claims they made.
