Michele Bachmann signed today the “Cut, Cap, Balance” pledge, which commits the signer to opposing any debt ceiling hike unless it includes spending cuts, caps on future spending, and the passage of the Balanced Budget Amendment.
Bachmann, who had hedged whether she would sign the pledge or not, decided to add one more commitment to the pledge.
“In signing the Pledge, I am adding a line; I also pledge that along with cutting spending, putting in place enforceable spending caps, and passing a balanced budget amendment, we must repeal and defund Obamacare,” she said in a statement.
