Michele Bachmann leads Mitt Romney among Iowans for the first time, according to a new poll commissioned by TheIowaRepublican.com. Bachmann receives 25 percent of the vote, while Romney earns 21 percent. Meanwhile, Tim Pawlenty and Herman Cain tie each other at 9 percent.
Taken by Voter/Consumer Research from June 26–30, the poll had a sample size of 500 likely caucus goers and a margin of error of 4.4 percent. Read more about the results here.
