Gingrich Campaign Already in Debt

Newt Gingrich raised $2 million this quarter, but he’s also amassed about $1 million in debt, reports Politico. The Gingrich campaign points out that after the majority of the senior staff resigned, Gingrich discovered he was $1.2 million in debt — and has managed to pay about 10 percent of that back. He’s also made changes, such as flying commercial, to cut down on campaign costs.
