O. Kay Henderson has more of Newt Gingrich’s round-table discussion hosted by the Family Leader. Talking with a small group of Iowans, Gingrich stressed his political experience, which Henderson interpreted as a veiled criticism of his rivals:
“You have to have somebody who has had the experience of doing some things that are real,” Gingrich said. “….Given my total experience as a public figure, am I a person who does what he believes in?”
