The Romney-Huntsman Encounter

Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman, both in the same 4th of July parade in New Hampshire yesterday, spoke to each other briefly.

According to the Washington Post, Romney told Huntsman, “Welcome to New Hampshire. It’s not Beijing, but it’s lovely,” — a reference to Huntsman’s time as President Obama’s ambassador to China.

Both candidates have indicated they don’t plan to vie for Iowa, meaning they’re counting on winning New Hampshire.
