In the last few weeks leading up to the Ames Straw Poll on August 13, Rick Santorum will be joined by his wife, Karen, and his seven kids on the trail, reports the Des Moines Register. The family will be living out of hotels in Iowa until the straw poll.
UPDATE: The Santorum campaign announces the family sweep through Iowa, entitled the “Courage to Fight for American Values” tour, will begin July 26 and conclude August 13. The Santorums will visit over 50 cities over the course of the tour.
