The Undefeated‘s Opening Weekend

The Undefeated, which chronicles Sarah Palin’s political career, did well enough in its opening weekend that its distributor plans to open it on more screens later this month.

The film averaged about $5,000 per screen, according to distributor ARC Entertainment. In some venues, showings were sold-out completely.

“We expect word-of-mouth to keep ticket sales strong and we will definitely expand the film to a wider national audience. With merely three weeks of preparation and a virtually non-existent traditional advertising spend, the film did exceptionally well,” said Trevor Drinkwater, ARC Entertainment CEO, in a statement.
