One of the most interesting aspects of last night’s debate was how heated the interaction between Rick Perry and Ron Paul was. Most of the other candidates have ignored Paul’s critiques, but Perry seems unwilling or unable to do that. Now, via International Business Times, a Reuters photo taken during a commercial break in the debate shows Perry appearing to be getting angry at Paul:
I’ve reached out to both the Perry and Paul campaigns to see if they have any comment about what interaction took place there.
UPDATE: “They were talking about border security and it was a very cordial conversation,” says Perry spokesman Mark Miner about the conversation that occurred when the photo was snapped.
