Newt’s Game Changer?

Newt Gingrich, whose campaign has been struggling to gain momentum, promised in Iowa last night that he will release a second Contract with America that “will be 10 times deeper and more comprehensive than 1994,” reports the Des Moines Register.

Gingrich said the first Contract had “changed the system some,” but failed to “fundamentally change the underlying system.”

He will announce his new plan in Iowa September 29.
