Paul: He Had No ‘Cross Words’ With Perry During Debate Break

Ron Paul denied yesterday that he and Rick Perry had had any confrontation during a commercial break in Wednesday’s debate.

“I don’t even recall the moment that was occurring,” Paul said of the photo, which showed Perry holding a finger up to Paul, “and I don’t remember exactly what he said. We didn’t have any cross words.”

Perry spokesman Mark Miner told NRO yesterday that Paul and Perry had been “talking about border security and it was a very cordial conversation.”
